Kokoro Dance presents performances by local, Canadian, and international dance companies, plus workshops, a lecture-demonstration, and archival films of butoh founder Tatsumi Hijikata's seminal work. Performers include Tokyo's Kohzensha Butoh Company, Sapporo's GooSayTen, Hawaii's Tangentz Performance Group, Sweden's SU-EN Butoh Company, Montreal's Jocelyn Montpetit Danse, Toronto's Fujiwara Dance Inventions, and Vancouver's Kokoro Dance and Ziyian Kwan.
